I've tried to install the app to my fan page but I don't see the tab.

• Log in to Facebook and click the following link to see all of your account's current Fan Pages (must be logged in or link will redirect): http://facebook.com/pages/manage.
• If you have more than one Fan Page, go to the page you want to add the app to and click Edit Page.
• In the left panel, find the Apps listing and click on it.
• Locate the Benchmark Email Signup form (depending on how many pages you have, it might be further down). When you find it, click Edit Settings (between Go to App and Link to this Tab) underneath it.
• In the pop-up window, if the Tab setting reads Available (add), click add.
• In your Privacy setting, make sure it's set to Everyone and then click Okay.
• You should now see the Benchmark tab on your fan page. If not, look for the >> symbol. When you click on it, you should see the tab inside.

Why does the signup tab keep disappearing from my page?

Facebook can limit the number of tabs that are visible on your page. It might be temporarily hidden by other tabs. To find it, click the >> symbol to look for your hidden tabs. To make it visible, click the signup form tab with your mouse and drag it next to your wall and information tabs. Release the tab once you have placed it where you want it and it should stay.

I am on the application page but I don't see the link to Add to my page.

This can occur for the following reasons:

• You are not logged in. You must be logged in to Facebook to see the link.
• You have no fan pages. At least one fan page is needed before you can see the link to add the app. Follow this link to get started on creating a fan page on Facebook (you must be logged in for the link to direct you to the proper page).
• You may not have fully completed the setup of your Facebook profile. You can not add the app or follow the link until you have done so.
• If all of the above requirements have been met, there is one more unfortunate reason why you may not be seeing the link. If you are using a business account and not a personal account, you will not see the Add to my page button. This is a bug that Facebook acknowledges on its own FAQ page. To work around it, connect your personal Facebook account to your Fan Page and set it as an administrator.

When I click Add to my page on the application page, my fan page isn't listed. It used to be there but now it's gone. Why?

If you've visited this page and clicked the Add to my page button, the link will no longer appear because you have added the app already.

The app won't accept my Benchmark Email User ID and password. What's going on?

Go to https://www.benchmarkemail.com/ and log in using your info. If it doesn't work, you may be entering your information incorrectly. If it does work, however, contact support (800.430.4095) and they will assist you with the problem right away.

Can I add the app as a box on my page instead of a tab?

No, sorry. Facebook currently mandates that all of its apps be rendered as tabs. For now, boxes are not an option.

How do I remove the app from my fan page?

• Log in to Facebook.
• Click on Home (top right of the screen).
• In the left panel, click Ads and Pages (you may need to click More to see the rest of the list).
• If you have more than one Fan Page, click Edit Page on the page you'd like to remove the application from.
• Click Apps on the lefthand list.
• Find the Benchmarkemail Signup Form and click the X for the listing.
• When confirmation pops up, click Remove.

Can I see which of my contacts were added from Facebook?

Not yet. But we are working on it. For now, the most pragmatic way to track your Facebook adds is by making a new contact list exclusively for your Facebook Fan Page signups and selecting it in your Application Settings.

Can I change the name of the app in the tab and on my Fan Page?

• Log in to Facebook.
• Click on Home (top right of the screen).
• Click on Ads and Pages in the left list (you may need to click More to see the rest of the list).
• If you have more than one Fan Page, click Edit Page on the page you'd like to alter.
• Click Apps in the left list.
• Find the Benchmark Email Signup Form and click Edit Settings (between Go to App and Link to this Tab).
• In the Custom Tab Name box, enter the new name and click Save.
• Click Okay and you're finished.
