Benchmark Power Plugin for Benchmark Email and Events

Add images to your Image Gallery with the Benchmark Power Plugin.

With the Benchmark Power Plugin, you can capture images from anywhere on the web. Add awesome graphics and images to your newsletters, events pages and more. Images should either be royalty free or request permission to use them. Available free with every Benchmark account.

Requirements:

• Benchmark Email account (works with Free Trial)
• Firefox, Safari, Chrome or IE internet browser.

How to Install:

• Firefox

• Firefox:
• 1. Click the Download link to start the download process. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded installer file and double click it.
• 2. Double clicking the installer file should open Firefox. You should see a Software Installation window in Firefox. Click the Install Now button.
• 3. A dialog box will inform you that you must restart Firefox to install the plugin. Click the Restart Now button. Firefox will close and then Restart.
• 4. When Firefox restarts, click on the Benchmark B icon and enter your login information.


• Safari:
• 1. Click the Download link to start the download process. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded installer file and double click it. You may see a warning about downloading applications from the internet. If so, click the Open button.
• 2. Double clicking the installer file (and then the Open button) should open Safari. You should see a Software Installation window in Safari (including another warning about installing Extensions only from trusted sources). Click the Install button.
• 3. The plugin should install into Safari. Once it completes the installation process, click on the Benchmark B icon and enter your login information.


• Chrome:
• 1. Click the Download link to start the download process. A zipped file will download to your computer. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded zip file and right click it and click on Extract All – this will unzip the file and will create a folder called 'benchmarkemail' on your computer.
• 2. Open Chrome.
• 3. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome button in the upper right corner of your browser and then click on Settings.
• 4. On the left side of your screen, click Extensions.
• 5. Find the checkbox labeled 'Developer mode' and make sure that the box is checked.
• 6. Once the Developer mode box is checked, click on the Load unpacked extension… button.
• 7. Navigate to the previously mentioned 'benchmarkemail' folder that was created when you unzipped the downloaded file. Once inside the folder, click the OK button (or SELECT button if you're on a Mac).
• 8. The plugin should install into Chrome. Once it completes the installation process, click on the Benchmark B icon and enter your login information.

How to Use:

• Firefox, Chrome & Safari:
• Find an image anywhere on the web that you'd like to use. Once again, images should either be royalty free or request permission to use them.
• Right click on the image.
• Select Benchmark - Add Image
• The image will be uploaded to your Image Gallery.
